If you have forgotten your password it cannot be recovered here: only a hash of it is kept, which is the reason nobody, us included, can read it back to you. Resetting one is not finished yet — the request is accepted, but the link it would send has nowhere to land, because the page that takes a new password does not exist on this site yet. That page is the whole of what is missing. Nothing about your machine is wrong and nothing about your account is either, and everything on it stays exactly where it is.
